Yes. It is a fortified cream that enhances the skin barrier function, accelerates repair, and delivers continual moisturization.

Can I use the Skin Strengthening Complex more than twice daily?
Yes. However, using the Skin Strengthening Complex twice daily provides continuous delivery of Pro-Niacin™ such that additional applications are not necessary. If additional moisturization is needed, use a humectant or additional moisturizer, applying the NIA 24™ Skin Therapy products first if applied together.

What is the source of squalane in the Skin Strengthening Complex?
Squalene can either be derived from shark liver or from olive oil. The squalene found in the Skin Strengthening Complex is derived from olive oil.

What is the form of Vitamin A in the Skin Strengthening Complex and will it cause irritation?
The Skin Strengthening Complex contains 0.5% retinyl palmitate, the ester version of Vitamin A. It helps to normalize the cell processes of cell turnover, elastin and collagen production. It is different from the acid version of Vitamin A, found in the prescription product Retin-A® and is therefore, less irritating while nonetheless, effective.
